What is Woman Asunder?
Asunder means “into pieces” and it’s how I felt when I found out my marriage was ending. I felt broken, but I also knew that it was an opportunity to put myself back together on my own terms. All of the pieces of myself that felt shattered could be used to rebuild, and I could come out on the other side stronger than before. At least, that was, and is, my hope. I’m not there yet.
The Woman Asunder is me, but maybe it’s you as well.
Maybe you are also coping with something difficult. I created this space as a way to process, but also to connect with others who are facing their own difficulties. If that’s you, welcome friend.
